Let me start my first real post on the forums.

A friend and I are thinking about doing a build, We want to Mod something like a Small Fridge Or Microwave into a case, Or failing that Mod a case to cool and Dispense Cans. I have a few ideas on how to do the project, How ever we are unsure of what path to take, As we are both new to the modding world.

The Specs will not be anything mega, Just a few bits and peaces that I have lying around.

I started working on a design for a case mod to dispense the cans and this is what I came up with, Its really really nothing special, all it I want this to do is give you an idea on what I am getting at.

Any input would be appreciated, Also any thing I should add to the build ?

i think the only major problem with this is the case is going to be mega heavy and it will need anouther 240v if you use a fridge cooling unit. but apart from that its all possible.

but do remember to seal inside your pc
all you want to do is look at a pop can machiine with the glass window, then copy it

@Majnu I thought you could not post links to other forums, But thanks all the same

@Winter_Zombie I know what you mean about how this thing will be heavy, It will only be sat in one spot any way.

Putting a fridge in a case isn't a great idea. Warm air will be expelled from the fridge in to the case, heating up your components.

seal well, else you'll short allot. make it enough for a few beers. urm and other than that i don't know, be careful, will be awesome, but you my be better of trying to acquire a thermaltake mozart case, and just put a standard size fridge in it. itll fit, and so will the pc. man that case is awesome :D

@topgun06 I can still add things to it, The design has changed a littile to give the case better air flow, I could add a coffee maker to the top some how, I like that idea, I will have a fiddle with Google Sketchup and see what I can come up with

Thanks so far to every ones input

OK, So here is the updated design, The front will be mostly clear acrylic. I have still yet to think of how the cooling unit will sit in there so as air flow can come from the bottom up and out again. I will do a proper design with all the correct measurements of the case at the end of this week.
