Case / Motherboard problem

Hi guys, so bought the

And asked Overclockers via Facebook if the Lian Li 550 case is compatable, they said it was so went ahead and ordered that also.

Just tried to instal it and lined up all the case holes to motherboard etc and the board is like 2 inches back from the IO shield in the case?

I mean, am I doing something wrong that I can’t see?

well according to google your case holds upto E-ATX boards and your board is ATX so it should fit with ease

It’ll fit sure but the mb won’t move anymore left and is a few inches back from the io shield

Have you made sure IO shield has been cleaned ? Normally they leave tags on the port holds from where it's been pressed and when trying to shove the Mobo ports through the shield you get resisstance

No worries . Safe to say gigabyte current gen boards have their IO cleaned !
