Case on floor

Is it best to put it on a board if it has to sit on the floor?

Depends on the case, depends on the floor if it is wood or not.

Usually for most it makes no difference.

Wont make a blind bit of difference

If it was a v1000 it would be a good idea, as the PSU fan sucks air from the bottom of the case.
