Case open or closed ?

How many of you does leave your tower case open or closed ?

I notice a rise in temperature inside the case if it was closed, about 5 degrees more heat - seem strange for excellent antec 1200 case with great airflow inside ! I had to leave it open case !

A properly set up case will run cooler/the same when closed. (Not that mine does

)

Ive had the side of mine for a few days now, temps only dropped a few c, no point in putting it on now as ill be done with this current case tomorrow.

I cannot use the side fan cos of stupid antec 1200 side fan block the way of my cpu cooler of Prolimatech Megahalems. I might consider to change a new case either these two:

Never been fond of side fans tbh, prefer to have a straight front to back airflow. Regarding those cases linked bulldog, i actually considered the corsair 800d, couldnt afford it so i opted for the lian li instead.

Adding a side fan on the 1200 has very very little effect on temps.
