Case or Cooler?

Im building a C2D e4500 rig on a bit of a budget. At the moment I am going with the Coolermaster Praetorian case, and an OCZ GameXstream PSU.
I have a little money left over, and can either upgrade the case to the Antec 900 (which looks really nice), or get the Arctic Freezer 7 CPU cooler and some Arctic Silver 5. I cannot do both.

I wont be overclocking much, only as far as I need to rather than as far as I can, so which would it be better to upgrade. Also bear in mind that this will be my first build, so I may not be too confident about putting a new HSF on, and having to remove the thermal pad and clean the chip. Plus the Antec 900 case looks far cooler than the Coolermaster!!! As I will not be overclocking massively, will the stock cooler serve me well enough?

On a totally different note, both cases have I/O sockets on top. How do you hook these up to the mobo, or will there be instructions for this in the case manual?
