Case Panel Fans

Just ordered a Corsair Carbide 300R thats comes with the option of having two fans on the side panel. Would this usually be used for two intakes, two exhaust or one of each?

It depends, I have two 560TIs with custom coolers and they blow the air out toward the side panel. In this case having exhaust would seem to be a good idea. Otherwise I imagine that intake would probably be a better idea due to heat rising and what not.
