At the moment i have my case setup like so and i get a lot of dust!

All fans are 120mm except heatsink at 92mm
I cannot change the way round the heatsink mounts am on AMD and a Artic cooler 7 pro rev 2.

Would this setup work better?

All fans are same and run at 1000rpm also.

Also is this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=TH-012-AR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=27 the same as this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=TH-004-AR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=27 and how many would each of these last me?

is the case on the floor ?, more likely to be getting dust from the front fans, do you have filters on them ?

do you need that many fans to keep the system cool ?, have you tried running 1 intake at the front and 1 exhaust (back of the case or top of case may be better with the cooler as it is)

maybe look at having the top/rear fans as intake, reverse the cooler fan so it takes the air coming in from the top fans and pushes it through the cooler to the front 2 fans as exhaust.

The solution is to add more intake fans! Side panel? Add filters to your front intakes for sure. I wouldn't reverse the top and rear fans, as you're just fighting the way the air wants to go.

This, but I would put fans in the bottom if possible.

What case do you have?

this.
just make sure you have fan filters

My side panel isnt filtered. or doing anything at the moment its fans arnt plugged in due to no filters. The bottom of my case is fully filtered and has space for 2 fans that can be used. Front and top are also filtered. Its the CM 690 II

Have the top panel fans exhausting, cos heat rises and will help with better airflow esp. regarding cpu cooler

How far off of the wood is the bottom of your case? A single 140mm fan needs a minimum of 55-60mm face clearance to draw air. 2 side by side need 75-80mm and the middle fan in 3 side by side needs 80-90mm. With this minimum clearance you will be amazed at how much quieter and how much more air is moved.

Floor is good as room is usually cooler at floor level.

That's most probably. Air flow cools. Filters control dust intake.

IMHO we need both :D

Edit:
Thing is you need at least 1 more fan and bottom is best place to put it. 2 fans mean you can run them slower with same air flow as 1 faster fan which would make more noise. Although 1 may be enought and still be quiet enough for you. It is in my case

Is this better?

Side panel mesh will not be used as its unfiltered. Although i plan on soundproofing foam it anyhow so i cant use the sidepanel
