I recently bought a pc from overclockers a small flap at the front has broken off and fallen inside the case. is the extra hole at the front going to cause problems eg dust?
Image below.
Might be worth seeing if you can retrieve it from inside. The piece is designed to be removable to allow the fitting of things likje floppy drives and card readers. It may be possible to click it back into place.
Read that in a hurry and thought that it actually broken not fallen inside the case. You can just open the case and look for it but as far as I remember your system is a pre-built one so that would void the warranty I think.
Cheers guy's I am not bothered about it being gone tbh. I will just keep a close eye to make sure dust isn't getting in through the hole . Luckily enough the computer runs very cool around the front so there shouldn't be much/any dust at all. Thanks for your advice
Yes because its a pre-built from OC and I think that it has stickers which represent the warranty and you won't be able to remove the side panel without ripping them off.

My question with this theory is how do they get the stickers there in the first place? Also, if they can do that then surely you could take it off, like with a pipe cleaner or something...
I thought it was now illegal under UK law to say a warranty was void if a pc case is openned; pc's are by design meant to be user upgradable. They just dont have to fix any damage he does.
