Just thinking of doing a bit of a case project involving 2 Antec 1000 cases, am wondering if I strip them down and connect together to form some form of cube, or other option is to cut one up and create an underneath enlosure for a water cooling setup.

Anyone got any other ideas?

What is the best route for connecting together the 2 cases, bolts or ??? Also would need some aluminium sheet, what thickness do you think I'll need to form the new top if I bolt the 2 cases together side by side?

regards,

Matt

Antec 1000s? Never heard of them

best Idea (I think) is have both of them as they are, basically stick them together without the sidepanels and make a cube. I'd say that you'd need no thicker than 1.5mm Alu to hold them together (but it might be worth doing the same at the bottom too), if it seems a bit flimsy just use an offcut to strengthen it at the ends (which is where it would bend or break, if anywhere)
