The motherboard on my 2 year old shuttle has died and it would be atleast £150 to replease so even tho i love having such a small case i've decided that i am going to sell the case + mobo + psu on ebay to anyone that wants to repair it or have it for parts and put the rest of my kit into a full case.
Before it died the system was;
Shuttle SN95G5 v1.2
AMD 64 3500+
2x512MB Crosair 3200 XMS PRO XL
Connect3D ATI X800Pro
74GB WD Raptor
250GB WD
SB Audigy 2
The question is what else to buy,
Case: should be full atx but must be as small as posible, good quality and stylish (no windows, flashing lights or tacky bits), good cooling and low noise would also be a bonus.
PSU + Motherboard: i wouldnt know one from the next so whatever you guys recomend to go with my stuff and is good stuff!
Do i need to upgrade anything else while im doing this lot?
maybe a new graphics card was i was thinkning about getting a 24" monitor?
Is upgrading the best way to do it or should i sell the whole lot and start a new rig?
i mainly use my PC for online poker, movies, music, uni work which is CAD + office, web and a bit of gaming now and again.
I dont have a set budget so just reasonable good quality stuff.
thanks for the advice,
Dave
