Hey, I have less than £100 to spare after choosing the parts for my PC, I was wondering what you would suggest for the pricerange (nothing above, a lot less would be much preffered).

I was thinking along the lines of Antec Sonata + PSU, but I'm sure there must be a better combo for around that.

Cheers!

Specs (quick overview)
6300 (will be overclocked to ~2.8)
2GB OCZ RAM
256mb 1950pro ATI
2 Sata drives
Gigabyte DS3 965P
1 DVD RW
1 DVD

Can't go wrong with a Lian Li PC7PLUS, these are very good quality and cheap too, 49.99£ at OCUK. :D
I'd personally go with a Tagan as my PSU, have a 700W one, you should take a long as this Tagan and see if it takes your fancy, even though it's overbudget.
Anyone else got a good suggestion for a cheap PSU?

Problem is I'm already overbudget :(

Reckon that PSU on the Antec will support the 6300 overclocked a little (maybe to 2.5-8)? Because if it will I'll probably stick with that unless i can find cheaper.

I don't actually know. The NSK is a newer case - that's all I was going on. The PSU on the NSK series is fantastic - very quiet, and stable. I can't speak for the Sonata series, but it may be a slightly older model (but it still complies to ATX2).

You'd be fine with either. But wait for some more suggestions first! :)

What case do you have now? Use that and put a decent PSU in it. Or save some money on the OCZ RAM - if you're only overclocking to 2.8GHz then the OcUK Value RAM would do as well.

I've got a £15 case from [a competitor!] from 3+ years ago, sure it's a case, just it's an awful one lol, really, really, really want rid of it, and I'm also going to sell on the old PC so it's not really an option.

I got offered the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-040-AN for £55 new off a mate who ordered double by mistake (fool). Just wondering whether its worth the extra £15 + case cost :(.

God, why cant we all be rich eh!
