Mid 2007 was the last time I built a PC (at that time evry 6 months or so ). At that time, I used Lian Li cases, think I went through around 6 or so.

Now I am starting to look at a new build, but seems to that on the case front, Lian Li hardly get a mention anymore. I see a lot of good stuff about Corsair cases and they do seem pretty good, but I used to love the fact that the Lian Li cases were fully aluminium, rather than seet with an aluminium front.

Soooo, can someone please enlighten me as to what is wrong with Lian Li (as in no one seems to buy) and also please could some recomendations flow my way.

Essentially I want:

1.) A high quality build Mid-Tower
2.) Discrete & elegant
3.) As quite as possible
4.) Roomy
5.) Easy to use / install stuff / toolfree
6.) Excellent cable management capability
7.) Potential to add 2nd GPU (most likely nVidia 680)
8). Space for watercooling when I make up my mind

Budget is not really an issue.

Thank you in advance

Pharty

Lian Li are still good tackle. I've only seen a few.
On your requirements I would struggle to get past a Corsair 650D. Built like a tank, great cable management, discrete, tool free and lots of options for moving things around and watercooling.

Your requirements are pretty much what I always look for in a case.

Thanks old boy. I must admit that I have already decided I will be going for either the Corsair 650D / 550 Quiet job or an equivelant Lian Li if I can find one.

I must say that case prices have gone up since I last bought one. £110 was top of the range then, now you can spend £350 PDQ :(

Lian Li still make great cases, just that they usually cost a lot, and cheaper cases often serve the same purpose well already
