Case Recommedation

Budget?

Corsair 900D, Silverstone TJ11, Coolermaster Cosmos SII, Switch 810, CM Storm Trooper

I could go cheaper if I needed to.

Thanks for your advice, was leaning towards an Antec case either the 902 v3 or the 1200 but I have checked out the Coolermaster Storm Trooper and have ordered that instead.

That was a close dodge, the 902+1200 are ancient designs and show it both externally and internally.

You made a good choice.

Yeah that is why I asked here prior to ordering as I would not have known which to choose and would have ended up with something old probably.

My only apprehension was whether a Storm Trooper V2 was on the horizon but cannot find any evidence of this.

I believe the Storm Trooper was released toward the end of 2011 so its fairly recent.

Storm Trooper is a good modern case. Has everything you'd need.

Thanks, feel happy that I have made the right choice. My Coolermaster Gladiator was a budget mid tower case that only cost £ 45 and did not fit big graphics cards.

I purchased that simply based on price without taking any recommendations here and it lasted me two years at least.

It wasn't in anyway flashy to look at which I feel the Storm Trooper is.

Its the most I have ever paid for a case but should last me a long time.

Yeah, it's good. One of TTL's favourite mid-range case (he prefers the Stryker, the white version).

I'd move the cross-flow fans (the ones on the side of the hard cage) to the front of the case, as he recommends.

yep you have made a good choice i have just bought the cm storm stryker which is basically the same as the trooper but in white, im really impressed with it. space wont be an issue too you get plenty of room inside this case. it looks massive on my desk!

I've got the Storm Trooper.

You'll love it, it's a beast. Tons of space and really well designed.

Looks pretty awesome too. You won't need to upgrade your case for a long time.
