Hi all, Im looking to upgrade my case (Antec 900) to something a little more discreet.

My budget is around the £150 mark, I would preferr a big case in black, and have enough room to fit a 220 rad in there.

I really like the look of the lian li range, but dont know if theres enough room for watercooling.

Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

you can fit a 3.120 Rad in a lian li a05 (completely internally), if you can fit it in that case (one of the SMALLEST standard ATX cases) then you can fit a 2.120 in any of the bigger ones.

i'd suggest V1010 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...uminium Super Midi-Tower Case - Black (No PSU)) or similar though, as you specified big :)

always room in a lianli for water :)

personally I go for the V series (had a v1000, v350(v300 was too small but i proffered the look of it) and now a v600 cus i wanted a smaller v1000) The holes in the front get me every time!

Im so tempted to whack a 120.3 in my v600 roof though! lol

If you want BIg then a v2000 is a good shout?

Thanks for the replies, vincent1989 That was one of the cases I was looking at. Do you know of anyone that has modded it to fit cooling in? any pictures? Just so I can work out where to put it all. Thanks

i couldn't say i'm afraid, it does seem to fit the bill though, and it'd be largely the same as with any case, i'd personally mount it in the lower section, removing the HDD brackets (and using the multitude of 5.25 bays for HDDs).

either sideways (and dremel a hole for ventilation in the side panel) or flat against the floor of the case (again, dremeling a hole) personally i'd go with flat against the bottom, the wheels keep it high enough of the ground for good airflow and i'd put it on a desk or side cabinet (something ikeaesque).

cheers guys for the info, Ive decided to get a lian li v1110B of the members market and mod it to fit a rad in there. Ive been looking for a transparent side window cant find them anywhere!! May have to make that myself
