Case recommendations

I am looking to do an overhaul of my main PC as I am finding it too slow for my Lightroom usage. I also use it for gaming but have decided to move towards a smaller form factor than my current LianLi atx tower. As such I was wondering if anyone could recommend cases suitable for the following criteria:

Required
- Full size double slot gfx
- 1 ssd
- Standard size PSU
- Quiet

Optional
- External drive bay
- Water cooling friendly

It will probably be a Haswell and I expect mITX would suffice, unless people think I would be better off with something else.

Thanks for the help

When you say watercooling do you mean a custom loop or CLC?

The ones that come to mind is obvoiusly the bitfenix prodigy as you could get two rads in there easy...

if it was just a 120mm rad CLC the fractal node is a stunning case. :)

Thanks for the reply. CLC probably, I don't think I could manage a custom setup.

Anything else good if I restricted myself to air cooling?
Do any of the smaller LianLi cases fit a fullsize gfx card?

As there are a number of smaller MATX lian li cases here is an example.
By removing the middle cage you're able to install a full length graphics card (370mm in length).

YOUR BASKET
1 x Lian Li PC-A04B Aluminium Midi-Tower Case - Black £82.99
Total : £94.09 (includes shipping : £9.25).

I wouldn't recommend one for water cooling though, the headroom above the motherboard is non-existent, a 120mm fan in the top just fits with the motherboard.

Maybe check out the fractal arc mini r2, you would be able to do a decent radiator setup as the top radiator mounts are offset so it clears the ram and vrm's along with plenty of room for gfx cards. Decent looking case too.

Another option is the 350d, case I currently own. MATX still with plenty of space for CLC or custom water cooling. Quite a few builds over at the build log section for it too if you want to check it out filled with gear.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Obsidian 350D Windowed Micro ATX Case - Black £99.95
Total : £111.05 (includes shipping : £9.25).

The SG05 can do that for you, apart from the PSU but it comes with a SFF one which is good enough to run most GPU's.

If you want to close loop cool there is a couple of mods you can do to the case to fit it in but you get as good cooling from the Nt06-e cooler that uses the PSU's exhaust to vent. Not aware of anything smaller that fits a dual slot GPU
