Case recommendations

The noctua is damn quiet and you`re right there is a tizzing sound from the pump but it is very faint. The bequiet is virtually silent compared to the EKWB predator 240mm which I had.
The LED strips are subtle as the window is heavily tinted. I have an additional strip on the front base to show off my SSDs!
 
Good to hear that pump noise isn't too bad. I may consider an AIO at some point.

Just enjoying how quiet my pc is now :) although the 1070 can get a little noisy while playing witcher 3.

I'll probably install the led strips at some point. Any suggestions where abouts is best placement?
 
Ceiling and front. I have three with additional along bottom.
You'll find having an additional intake at the bottom brings your GPU fan speeds down and helps keeping it silent whilst gaming.
 
I have some 120mm fans removed from the old case. I could use those, or just order some more 140mm silent wing 3's. I'm just a little loathe to spend 20 quid on a fan :p

They are impressively quiet though.

One thing i haven't quite sussed, is the fan controller hub. It just seems to run the fans at full speed no matter what. I connected it to a pwm header. Maybe something in my motherboard bios not set.

I too bypassed the controller. You could try a bios update but if your board has plenty headers like mine then leave it.
The silent wing 3s are very much worth every penny.
