Need a case, must support at least 5 3.5" hard drives and a DVD-ROM (mounting 3.5"s into 5.25 bays is acceptable but not preferable). Needs to be quiet with good ventilation, small and un-intrusive. - And hold an ATX motherboard.

It's for a storage server that I want to tuck out the way and just let tick over. It may even get shut in a corner and never looked at! So small, silent and good HD capacity are the main reqs...

tbh any case with some air flowing over the hdd will do! silence does depend on what you are gonig to put in it.

my storage server is a jeantech 5bay case that cost all of £30 and its serves me well and i have managed to pack 7 HDDS in thier with out using the 5 1/4 bays. admittadly some of the disks got toasty due to limited airflow!

super lanboy looks good! Picked up a couple of cases off ebay recently for £15 and £20 respectively (price included delivery!). Both new and perfectly adequate. Have space for 3 3.5" drives and have 4 5.25" drives so theer's plenty of space available fro drives!
