Anyone ever used the Case sound proof Jazz

Acoustipack

Was considering it but is it a load of rubbish?

Also dont want to insulate the case and increase temps.

Think of it more as something that absorbs sound, as long as you don't hamper/block air flow temps will remain the same, personally I think dust getting into the material the biggest bug bare which would require vacuuming to get the structure to reduce sound rather than bouncing sound off of the dirty foam.

Cheers Hombre's TBH i think i will leave it, not spending money if it might not make a difference, I can live with the noise, im just pernicity

My Coolermaster Cosmos has this material fixed into the main removable side panels as standard - I unfortunately hae no comparative experience to advise you about, but I can assure you that if effectively fitted, there will be no negative effect upon temperature :)

That will work in making quiet PC more quieter... but only when whole case is "treated" similarly and there aren't bad direct noise escape paths.

Also vibration can cause lot of "ambient" noise whose source you can't locate inside case so unless HDDs are elastically suspended lining should include dense mass damping base layer.

Think imight just do the old room sound proof trick and put in egg boxes lol.

Nah i think i will justleave it, the noise is more than likely coming from my GFX cards and im just being a picky git
