At some point in the near future i'll be getting a new pc (hopefully sooner rather than later). The plan is to order the parts from OcUK and put it together myself (eek) so after much umming and arrring i think i've decided on:

3.3GHz i5 Sandybridge
P67 UD3 Gigabyte
HIS 6870
CM 600W Modular PSU
1TB SATA
2x2gb RAM

(if there are any technical flaws in my choices then please tell me, never built my own pc before so i might've overlooked something but i think everything is sound now)

Now i'm trying to keep the price down but big enough at the same time and with so many cases out there i could use some suggestions/recommendations.

Situation is it obviously needs to be big enough to accomodate the 6870 and the rest of the stuff while leaving enough space for cable management as i would like to add in an SSD for the OS at some point in the future and generally keep good airflow. Opted for a modular PSU so i don't tangle myself in cables.
1 case that caught my eye was the Storm Scout though £60 is quite pricey and i doubt i'd get much use out of its LAN functions (though the carrying handles would be a godsend). Mostly i'm wondering about the space inside with the card and stuff in though i think it should be plenty (looking at a video review).

I'm not really sure i'd ever upgrade to dual GPUs over just upgrading to a better GPU so i'll stick with that. Crossfire performance just seems to be all over the place.

Some nice cases though £70+ is starting to get a bit high for me. What do you think of the Storm Scout? I'll take a look at the Z7 Plus though as it seems a decent case (and would make up for the DVD drive i forgot about).

Storm Scout isn't as good value as some of the others posted. Too little room is the major problem with it.

The Lite version of the CM 690-II is the same price, but much more space and arguably better looking.
