Hi all, to cut a long story short I recently upgraded my gfx card and psu to a 4090 and a 1000 watt psu but now my mobo has died (at least I think it's the mobo) but my case is an COOLERMASTER MASTERBOX K500 ARGB GAMING CASE but I had to move one of my cooling fans from the radiator to get the 4090 in and now the case is very congested so I was thinking I might as well look for a case with a bit more room as it's all very tight lol
Any ideas and bearing in mind that money is an issue as I've forked out quite a bit on upgrades atm and My bank balance is not good, at least the wife hasn't noticed yet :(

You mentioned money is a issue but didn't give a budget.
Oh yeah sorry probably about £100 - £200 :)
I was thinking something like this :- Corsair crystal series 680rgb high airflow atx smart gaming case in black

Lancool 216 or Lancool 3. Phanteks G500A ARGB was a bundle with 4 x 140mm ARGB fans. Pretty good starting point.
Torrent is excellent, but “must” be an aircooled build. Removing the front fans kills the case’s appeal.
NZXT H7 flow is also very good. H9 flow a bit tight for top AIO depending on radiator thickness. Bottom fans usually noisy because there’s no gap between them and bottom panel. A fan spacer is a must.

Yes it will. My only real gripe with the 5000x is I wish it was taller for the af2 at the top. Not much room if you have a mechanical drive.. I moved mine to a Nas due to this. I would have liked 140mm fans all around. But overall it's a good case to use

If you like the design and wants something with a front glass, the NZXT H7 Elite is an option. The flow version is cheaper. Despite the solid front, apparently the H7 Elite doesn’t cripple airflow. The 5000D, which I believe is similar to the 5000X can be quite tight for top AIO (Arctic Freezer AIO). There’s a way to install fans between the top panel and the top of the case, but that will only work for the Airflow version. Clearance should be fine, as I had a NH-D15, and even with the rear fan over the RAM offset, it still fit.
The 5000D Airflow was an excellent option when it could be found under £100, or thereabouts. But at the current price, there’s plenty of better options around. Is a good case, but the market has evolved a lot since.

I just bought the NZXT H7 flow in for £109 free shipping elsewhere. I don't know why ocuk charges way more than other places. Free forum member shipping a sham. Great case recommended from Gamers nexus.

As a 5000 rgb owner I'd agree totally
