Swapped from an antec p180 to a corsair carbide 500r.

Here are the results:

500r is a very good case and easy to build with. Even with the case fans on full speed it is a lot quieter than the p180.

CPU temp has dropped by 3-5 degrees over the 4 cores after 1hr of prime95.
GPU temp has also dropped by 3-4 degrees.

I have 2 af120 quiets on order for the top and tempted by a H60.
Will the H60 be much better than my gelid?
max temps after 1hr prime 95 are 57-66-67-62
Finally how do i connect the 2 af120's? Will i need to buy this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-136-BX

Also just noticed i have not plugged the molex power into the mobo.
Seems to be running fine. do i need to plug this in or is it just for sli/xfire?

Thanks

I had that case a while ago, pretty good airflow for air cooling, but i had to get rid as it's no good for water cooling.

I ran my mobo with the extra power connector for sli for sometime and saw no bad effects from it.

Everything is running fine without it so might leave it out and see how it goes.

Not really one to mess with DIY water cooling. Was thinking of getting H60 though. Hoping for a bit better cooling and will be less cramped in there. Any thoughts on them, seem to be good enough for the i5.
