Hi,

What software do you use to measure case temperature?

Speedfan currently says 40C for system temp but I do not know how reliable that is.

Buy/borrow a thermometer if you really want to know.

If it's just for measuring temp change (of differnt fan setup's for example) they stick with speedfan or everest.
All temp hardware temp probes are inaccurate to some degree.

Thanks for the suggestion shadowscotland.

I'm really looking for a software based temp measurement so I can then compare with other PC rig results.

If I find, for example, speedfan is the standard measuring tool then I can use this (including it's inaccuracies) to compare.

Compairing temps especially 'system' temp is wholly inaccurate SO many variables.
Even between cpu in the same model there can be major differances.

All I'm saying is temps are not all that, especially as a 2c ambient temps differance between members bedrooms/or case location
has more effect on system temp then which HSF you use.

I tend to use PC Wizard myself, not the quickest method but it shows temps for virtually everything in my system (CPU, motherboard, GPU and HDDs), as well as fan speeds.
