Been researching and checking around seems most cases do 5 or 6 3.5 hdd bays, fractual R2 does 8 x 3.5 bays, but are there any other decent ATX cases that do nothing but 3.5 bays since they dont seem to exist.

Anyone seen any cases about ?

Youll maybe have to consider a full atx size case, i currently use a Lian Li A70F, 11 x 3.5 inch bays, 5 x 5.25 bays.

That Lian Li A70F is quite nice and yeah holds a lot of 3.5 drives, was sort of looking more generic cheaper type case tbh.

Im still surprised theres no server towers that just house 3.5 drives, seems 99% of cases cater for people that like 3-4 dvdwriters, which a lot dont use :)

May have to opt for the fractual case...

yeah ive seen those docks, but tbh maybe im sounding cheap but thats like 100 quid lol

Just needed a metal box to house 8+ sata hdds to make a server box
wish I was good at diy and had a dremel :)

Guess another option is to simply buy a cheap tower and loads of drive bay converters....

Not sure if they're still about, but CM stacker + 4 in 3's... I think I had like 12 HDs in my box when I was still was using it, if you want a cheap option and a trip down to NW Kent, I'll flog you mine for next to nothing I just want the room back, trust me if you're interested.

Chieftec's quite cheap BA/CA01 maxi towers have eight HDD bays so if you want cheap case with lots of space look for those.
(also six 5.25" bays in them)
