Hello!

I'm gutting my old system and installing a new board (MSI PRO Z690-A). I'm trying to install the MSI Coreliquid P240. I'm putting these into an Anidees AI6 case. The case isn't tiny.

I'm struggling right now because the AIO pump radiator fans won't fit between the radiator and the motherboard. There's just not enough clearance. Has anyone else had this issue and worked around? If it's not solvable, I'll have to go back to stock fan until I can work something else out.

Part of me is tempted to give up and go for a single radiator type, like this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-w...-in-one-cpu-water-cooler-120mm-hs-00h-ek.html
Thanks!

Not all cases are designed to support radiators in the roof, regardless of how "big" the case is.

Clearly, this is on such example. So put your AIO in the front instead.

Thanks - won't fit in the front either, unfortunately. Looks like I'm going stock for now

Version 1 of your case doesn't support aio cooler.

I was running a Corsair CW-9060024-WW Hydro Series H80i in this case beforehand. I think a single 120mm fan with radiator at the back will work now.

This is listed as LGA1700 compatible:

Would you rate it or are there better options on OCUK?

Thanks

I've had an issue where I couldn't fit an AIO with fans into a case designed for them because of the heatsink on the motherboard fouled the fans.... there are a lot of variables these days so even support for rads doesn't mean it will work all the time

Not a bad cooler will do the job but I would get a new case if you already got a 240mm aio.

Thanks - currently running stock intel fan. Will see how it performs under load.

Really like the look of the Fractal Design Define XL R2 - but will hold off for now and let my credit card cool off a bit!!
