Hi all

My plan was to go ITX as I needed more room on the desk, we've now swapped the room around abit and I can go with a MATX instead... I currently have the Kolink Citadel TG but I'd like something with better airflow and something they may keep abit of the noise in..

Can anyone recommend me something upto £80

Must have a window as I like to see my components

Must have a PSU shroud

Colour doesn't matter to me

I was considering the BeQuiet 500 but would rather get some input from you all

Cheers

I have the BQ 500 case in black. Its a nice case, not the easiest to build in but once done looks good with the tempered glass window.

Decent vaule for a quality case.

I'm glad someone on here has it... It looks a great case and there are some YouTube videos that give it a lot of praise... I've liked it for

Ive just built my Dad a new PC, I cant give it to him yet because of the current situation, its just sitting here ready to go, I struggled like hell to find a case to suit everything I wanted to get into it, and then I stumbled across a Sharkoon Case, the V1000, then another, the S1000, they are both the same case, just a different front panel, really really cheap and surprisingly, very versatile, i'll post some picts of the build I made for my dad to give you some idea, I have since added a Gigabyte WiFi card to the build that you wont see in the picts, and changed the PSU to a 500w EVGA GQ, but you'll get the idea, sorry but it had to have a DVD drive, he's the only person I know that has to have an internal drive still, the vent on the PSU shroud is an interesting idea.....basically around the back you have room for 2 SSD's and 2 x 3.5" HDD's, however, if you only want to use 1 HDD, you can install a 120mm fan in the other position, either blowing air over your hard drive, or exhausting it out into the case.

Looks nice, I see a lot of YouTubers using that case. I shall have a look.. I only use 2 SSD's so plenty of space for them

This is what the back looks like, there's no drives in it at the moment as he has an SSD and HDD in his current machine that I built 5 years ago, i'll just swap them over when I finally deliver it to him, im hoping it wont need formatting, his old system is an AMD FM2, hoping I can get away with just removing the drivers, doing the swap, and installing new drivers.

Plenty of space for cable management, that's good as I like my cables to be out of sight.

I recently got an antec p120 and its a really nice case especially if you want to see your components and its £70.
The placement of the hdd caddies and psu is a little strange but i like it.

I was actually considering the P120, the only place I can get it is OCUK's competitor as other retailers don't seem to have it.. It is a very nice looking case and I like where they've put the PSU

Not sure how you feel about the flashing lights, but what about the new Zalman M3 range?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £97.98 (includes shipping: £0.00)

I'd lean toward the be Quiet! if you've the budget for it though, I'm a big fan of their cases and the 500 is an awesome bit of kit.

I had a Zalman case before, for a lower budget case it was actually pretty nice, the M3 plus is smart with the front panel being filled with 3 fans, Cheers for the recommendations
