I'm considering taking out the standard window+fan combination on the side panel of my HAF-X, and putting in a window only (mainly so you can see the inside better, as the fan won't be in the way)

I've never done something like this before, so would like some advice from people who have.

Firstly, what material would anyone recommend for the window? I was thinking maybe Perspex, and from a quick google, I can get a 600x600mm sheet (a little larger than the whole side of the HAF-X, and I can't measure exactly, as I'm at work at the moment) for about £18, which doesn't sound too bad, but is there something that would look nicer/be cheaper?

From what I remember, the current window is reveted in, so these probably won't be too hard to remove, however what's the easiest way (that still looks good) to fix the new window on? I was thinking maybe to use some black, hex-headed bolts, as it should work with the "industrial" look that the HAF-X has, and it's easier than riveting (and I don't have access to a riveter)

I think that's everthing I need to ask at the moment, but if anyone has done something similar, and has any advice, please let me know :D
