Hi guys,

So im getting near the end of the planning of my new build, and as usual the hardest point comes with finding a case that ticks all the boxes.

For the last 4-5 years or so, i've been running a Thermaltake Mozart Tx, which, is a big and roomy case, but after 5 years of looking at the same case, even though I still like it, some change is in order.

Anyway, was browsing through the cases on the store, and, to me at least there seems a massive lack of *realy big* cases.

So, looking online I found Caselabs, now these do seem to tick all the boxes, except one, and thats by the time shipping and tax have been applied, it ends up nearly £700 to get one to the front door. Thats a lot of wonga for a case! I did give them an email back to find out about fabricating one over here, but they never got back to me on that, not even a polite "no thanks" :( It's a real shame, i'd love to go for one of their cases but can't justify dropping £700 on one. Id be happy with ~£250-350 in reality... but £700 is just OTT.

Fortunately, one of my childhood friends owns a fabrication company, so after a bit of chat and banter, we discussed the idea of self-fabricating a case, he has all the equipment, including sheet metal lazer cutting equipment.

So after all of that, comes the question, I don't suppose anyone has a link to some designs or plans for a case, we could use as a starting point to designing a case for fabrication?

And secondly, I don't suppose theres anyone local to Birmingham / Worcester who has a Caselabs case which we could come and have a look at in person, to see how they've done things. All the reviews comment on how high quality and well built the cases are, so taking a look first hand to see this and see what we are aiming to match would be a great help!

Cheers
