Was looking at 8 packs hyper cube build on ocuks website ( very nice :) ) and fell in love with the case, I think it's the caselabs magnum m8 and wondered is there a way apart from ordering direct to get the said case dunno if we have a uk importer or ocuk have some ready to do builds?

Cheers

they only sell direct, the service they offer is very good and when i got my case from them and i spent 2 months changing my mind about various things and they were very polite and patient and under stood that there would be import tax on it so the total would be high. i knew the case i was ordering was massive but was not expecting 2 h000ge boxes!

just take your time and email them with what you think you may want and they usually email back with some suggestions as well. check your order over sevral times before deciding what options you want and dont want.

Hah, if you get one let me know, im in Bromsgrove!

I have spoken with Case Labs though, and have worked out something with them to get the cost down slightly...

Maybe it would be worth doing a "group buy"? (I don't know, is organising something like that here against the rules, CL arn't exactly a direct competitor are they as ocuk dont stock the cases?)

I have spent a month looking at cases lol I was gunna pull the trigger on a corsair 540 but the thing that gripes me is the vertical drive bay but I found that on the caselabs it's all good

I purchased a caselabs sth10 2 years ago and with the few parts i had extra and the extra cost's it came to £660 which includes import tax.

Having a group buy will not cut down costs as it goes on the price of the goods imported.

Not sure bout the rules maybe ocuk can even help?
Maybe we should ask them if buying a few cases would make things easier on cost or summit

Bromsgrove hey, small world we live in : )

I have already asked ocuk about getting some caselabs case's in but said no.

they state that selling to resellers dont work for them, thier operation is very simple and helps keeps thier running costs down.

there are one or two euro based case builders like littledevil etc that do similar to some of case labs range.

The little devil case's dont have anything as good and as well made as caselabs, there build quality is superb.

Well I spoke with CL late last night, and, they say a deal could probably be worked out if we got a few people interested.

One of my clients is also a US-UK freight forwarder, so will be in touch with them about some freight consolidation to help bring down the costs of shipping also.

I'm willing to organise a group buy, and look into what we can do, if theres enough people interested and ocuk doesn't mind it. A quick calculation looks as if it could potentially (based on a STH10+XXL Window (what im looking to buy)) bring the cost down from around £650 landed, to just under £500 per person.

Group buys are not allowed on the forums.

If you want a case, please post in the product suggestion forum with your request, a link to the case you are interested in and I will get back to you with some information.

Thanks

Is there a way a mod or yourself can move the whole thread, to product suggestion? : )

Ive put the suggestion in also, so will see what price they can come back with, failing that will probably look to see if theres anyone interested on the caselabs facebook page...

I dunno if any of you are interested but they have a FB page and i posted this on one of the photos

" OcUK need to sell them cases too! would make their cases a more viable option for ppl in the EU!"

Their response was:

"This is a possibility. We're exploring our options in the EU. We understand that the popularity of CL is growing, and the desire for them in and around Europe is too. We want to accommodate EVERYONE. It's hard for a company as small as ours to do that, but we ARE looking into it and want to make it happen"

Looking hopeful!

Sounds promising :)

wow thats a big change, i guess theres been tons of eu based peeps emailing them about cases and not ordering and they musta worked out the lost sales. just hope who ever sells the cases would sell the accessorys as well

For anyone that is interested in ordering a Caselabs case they just announced this on the FB page.....

Now customers can enjoy all the benefits of a custom ordered case (that would never be available in conventional retail channels) without paying the high shipping costs normally associated with them. For example: a fully loaded STH10 can be shipped to most of Europe for under $60.00 (flat-packed).
