caselabs STH10 Problem

So I am intending to buy a Caselabs STH10, It'll Have an X99 board with 14 Sata 6Gb ports, And I intend to use all of them! I was considering of ordering this(( http://www.caselabs-store.com/hdd-side-mount-single-wide-magnum/ )) along with 4 HDD Cages to hold 16 x 6TB HDD's... ( As Far as I know you can get extentensions that allow for more than one HDD per sata port????? ) My only question, Could I put this at the bottom of the main middle compartment under the Mobo or does it have to go in the bottom compartment where I was intending to put a 560 Rad??? If not, I'll put that in the bottom compartment with the PSU and put 2 x 560's in the roof

As far as splitting the hard drives go, I suspect you're thinking about SAS drives where a SAS port is split off into multiple connectors. This is not the same as SATA, and the X99 WS board doesn't have SAS ports.

You'll need a controller card to do this.

Certainly an interesting looking build.

Depending on what the usage will be of those WD Reds, you might be better off housing them in a dedicated NAS unit.
