Lookin for a new case, but can't make up my mind.

I was looking at the xigmatek Elysium. Also the antec p280 and the fractal xl case.

I like the layout of the fractal and it's supposed to be nice and quiet. Only thing is no watercooling if I did decide that route later on.

Antec case, looks decent.

The Elysium.... I like that, but I'm afraid my wife might beat me due to the sheer size of it! It looks massive!!

Advice please guys! Is there a "silent" case then you can watercool in if I chose to later down the line?

If you're considering the Antec P280 like I am, you might like to take a look at the Corsair Obsidian 550D. I'm just waiting for some reviews to come out on it ;)

ditto, i need a silent case, my computer isn't too noisy during the day but at night when everyone is sleeping and there is pin drop silence the computer sounds like an airport.

Quite distracting.

I had my eye on the p280 for a while, but i got off it because it's quite plasticy. The 550d is all metal, inclduding the front door, definately more quality than the p280.

But still undecided. I'm gonna create a pros and cons list of the r3, p280, p193, and 500d and make my mind up once and for all.

I just bought myself an Elysium after two years cramming everything into an antec 300. two cards, 4hdd's, etc. Something had to give. I DIDN'T size up the Elysium before I bought it, just went "yoink". Glad I did - had I realised I wouldn't have bought it which would have been a mistake!
But I LOVE this case. I can fit my entire head inside whilst fully loaded and have a look around whereas before I used a mirror on a stick for most stuff (large fingers, tight corners). Infact unless I have to downsize (hate that word) I will NEVER need another case. The case is quiet (its fully loaded with fans and two cards, two on CPU block) and very well put together, with only a few small gripes (like to move the drive caddies you *may* need to remove a pair of silly bars to use certain positions, and its not 100% tool-less, screwdriver required to fit drives into caddies) but otherwise its a great case.
My only big warning...check your damn cable lengths! I've got to buy a load more as if I want to use the cable tidying then I need twice the cable length that I needed for my old Antec 300 (infact the 300 fits inside the Elysium with room to spare!).
Not to mention some stuff had to be arranged around how short my power cables are...
