CoolerMaster Cavalier 4

420x 438x 135

Hopefully not too large! Looks ok accepts atx mobo's and is £73 after vat!

Linky

Choice after that becomes thin!

If you could get a micro atx board then the antec nsk2400's a great little case too!

£59 after vat - Linky

Hope that helps! :)

I too am after a media size chassis however inside i want the machine to be quite meaty - im ideally wanting to put an x1950 in it

While i know what im wishing to do aint exactly perfect whats the best case out there for my needs?

Hi Tom,

The antec looks good. I'm sure it would cope with the system you wanna put in. The only possible consideration is the micro atx board you'd need!

It has 2 120mm tri-cool fans that vent from the motherboard area and has 2 hdd rails with silicone grommets to damp vibrations! I'm sure it would be quite cool and quiet!

Have a look at the linky above to check specs!

Yeah - if you can afford it then that looks good too! Seems to be micro atx still but that shouldn't really be a problem!

If it's anything like my p180 then it'll cool effectively and quietly! :)

its one that i am saving up for - i dont think the matx size wil matter too much as i will be doing an onboard for sound and video. just need 2 tuners to sit in thier

Hmmmm, not that nice imo, also they are VERY expensive!

I understand that they are very silent, but there doesnt seem to be much space in there?

They are indeed VERY VERY expensive but we were talking about "if I had the money I would buy....".

Some bloke was selling the ATX case only for £160 on fleabay but he seems to have run out now. (maybe the lorry which they fell off has now driven off :p )

There's more space in the ATX one, and style is personal choice I guess. Not sure about the fins but they're for cooling. They are fully passive cases so only noise should be from your components.
