I'm thinking of getting a bigger ATX case as opposed to my itx but will need to put it on the floor. It's laminate flooring not carpet will that still mean my case will get dustier, I do hoover once a week if that helps?

Having more input fans than exhaust and decent filters on the input fans will go a long way to keeping the inside of a case dust free(ish). With the right setup it takes 12-18 months before I get anything of note in mine - sadly not so easy to eliminate it from the room.

Possibly getting more dust, specially if you have bottom intake fans. I'm using an Akoada CPU Stand for PC Computer Case Holder Bracket Desktop Mainframe Rack with Brake with 4 Caster Wheels(Black) which costs about 16 quid.
Not a great looking piece but helped few cases which where quite close to the floor, affecting the bottom intake performance. Not an issue with the O11 XL or the O11 Evo I'm using now, but I still use it as is handy to move the case around and being slightly over floor level, helps a bit regarding dust on the bottom filter.
Main benefit is less intrusive noise from bottom fans.
To be fair, would take a very dusty environment to actually be an issue. Good filters will do their work, every now and then, just clean them to keep performance.

I had mine on the desk and recently moved it to the floor to gain more space as I purchased a Wacom Cintiq.

To be honest not that much of a difference. As many say, regularly clean the filters and blow out the dust.

I have an Enthoo Primo big ass case but do love it, its on short pile carpet but I made a small trolley with 6 castors to pull it in and out and raise it off the floor, works a treat, not noticed any more dust than normal although its not been cleaned through in a "long" while but coolant and part temps are solid still, every little helps.
