does anyone know of any good cases that open on the right hand side, preferably nice looking with good airflow and perhaps a viewing window

basically the way my desk is set up the left hand side is right next to the wall so a left opening side is pretty useless and inconvenient to me

thanks for your help :)

Actually, that would suggest to me that you can change whether the door opens from the back or front, not altering which side it's on. Am I wrong?

To me it sounds like it needs a case that's built backwards entirely - with the motherboard mounted on the opposite side to normal. Not sure if such a thing exists.

yeah thats basically what im after, the mobo would need to sit on the other side completely, and yeah i cant seem to find anything out there which is a pain, may have to settle for a "normal" one then

My stacker 832 can do this and the mother board tray can be turned around as well.

your name is like mine :D

P182 opens from the right. Plus they look very stylish imo. very good airflow too, and windows can be easily modded, but if it's on the right what's the point in putting a window to the wall? Maybe you want BTX or something?!

just about to take a look at that, and well i was under the impression that the opening side was always the side with a viewing window, otherwise you would just be viewing the back of the mobo lol, so i want one that opens on the right so i can access things easier and also the L.E.D's inside would show better if that makes sense

im really liking the look of the lian-li to tbh, looks like a very high quality case

Im sure this is called a reverse ATX case yea?

In that case any lian li! i have the v2000, its gorgeous! expensive but airflow needs abit of work to it

Yeah looks like you're after a "reversed" or BTX style case, The lian li's posted above are like that, motherboard on the left side, upside-down to normal with the graphics card at the top and the cpu at the bottom.

Have a look through the new cases sticky, plenty on show in there.

my point exactly.

Lian-Li would definitely be a good way to go then.

the b25b is looking like a winner here, the more i look at it the more i want it lol, has anyone got any personal experience with this one? just wanna see whether the airflow is any good becuase at the moment its pratically non existent in my case and its causing some sky high temps

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-105-LL lian-li a71 can do it aswell it wouldnt suprise me if you can do it to all lian-li cases that have a door on the front

great airflow + tons of room

Ok, consider me educated ^^

Now tell me how it works - how do the Lian Lis get around the fact that, if the motherboard is reversed, the back plate would have all of its ports in the wrong place? Is the back plate reversible? Just can't visualise how it works, unless there's two separate backplates depending on configuration.
