Are there any FULL tower cases out there with usb 3.0? i know it's just coming out but im planning on spending about £130 on a new case at the end of March and i do not want it to become immediately outdated due to having usb 2.0 ports.
prob not, though im not too keen on the lian-li anyway.
any ideas if manufacturers like antec or corsair are gonna start making them? they are backwards compatible after all.
also, wouldn't it just be possible to fix your own usb 3.0 onto the case instead, as it's only a small board. Though i don't know how expensive that would be.
Like the Sharkoon adaptor? Yeah I am kinda, but even that adaptor is overpriced in a sense. ASUS offer a faster product (in testing) with 2 SATA3 ports aswell for almost the same price (I'm sure CPC mag had it listed as cheaper, CBA to actually look though).
TBH USB ports for your case are dependant on the motherboard still, so a bit pointless really, plus you can buy new header assemblies to mount in the front of most cases from certain mod shops (A US based one springs to mind). Chances are you will be able to buy an upgrade for any case you buy. Although Lian Lis implementation has a cable looped out of the back of the case to plug into an actual USB 3 port on the MB I/O, so wait for proper MB header implementations first, else you'll lose at least 1 slot (if not more?).
