For some reason ( probrably demand ) The Casio 4G is only sold in the US Korea and Japan - I want a new phone after my Defy+ has been ultimately defied after a 2 ft drop ( yes 2 FT!)

I like the Casio 4G versions and would like to get one imported

The spec says its on bands : 1800 1900 2100 700 850 900

AFAIK it should work as bands 700, 900 and 2100 are in UK too right?

Alslo afaik 4G also exists on one or some of these bands? ( dependant on provider and plan)

I am on EE and would imagine a clued up phone unlocker could get it useable but 4G I imagine would be tricky?

Is this the phone? http://smartphones.findthebest.com/l/626/Casio-G-zOne-Commando-4G-LTE

The only LTE band the phone supports is 700Mhz, which none of the UK networks are using. 2G and 3G looks fine but really, this phone looks like it was never designed to work well with UK networks. There even seems to be some hints that there's a variant that's CDMA, not GSM, which will not work in the UK at all due to different mobile technologies.
