Castlevania style games

I used to love playing Castlevania on the DS, really enjoyed it.

I have a psp (psp-3000 and cant be hacked unfortunately due to the firmware), and a pc and would love to play a game that closely resembles it.

Are there any castlevania games for the psp?

Just found this for the PSP - Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.

Seems it has symphony of the night on it, if I remember correctly that was the one on the PS1 that was apparently brilliant?

Yeah, think Castlevania meets Metroid to get an idea of what kind of game it is. It's very good.

Its what the DS games are like. Got very involved playing them - and thought they were good, so may go and buy this at the weekend

If you can, download the PS1 version of symphony of the night from the US PSN. As the one included in Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles isn't the original version (voices and dialogue are different) and has a stupid boarder you cant get rid of.
