Been looking at camera bags, I want it to look more casual and doesn't scream "I HAVE A CAMERA!" but at the same time, I want it to protect my camera, but also fit more than just a camera like a jumper, drink, any and more the better.

I have seen this one, I like it in Grey, any thoughts?

Has anyone used this, or would recommend something else?

Honestly, I just bought a backpack and went on my first outing yesterday and the day before. Now I love the idea of a backpack it gives me everything (I don't have much at the moment, but I will :p) in one place. However I found it really got in the way a lot and was very uncomfortable. I intend to buy a sling bag to carry a body and 2 lenses around with me and perhaps some filters. It may not be what your after but I'd bare it in mind.

I've got a jackpack in the grey but it's a shoulder bag, a smaller model. I really like the colour, although I think I prefer the older crumplers for subtle looks. It's still non camera like, even with the smaller, boxier shape, so the style should work well.

I'm currently looking at this pack too, or a Kata, although my local shop doesn't have crumpler in yet to look at.

I will echo what hyburnate said,i have had roughly 6 different bags and have settled on a lowepro sligshot 202aw,had backpacks, shoulder bags and nothing is a comfy and easy as the slingshot range,i have a dslr,5 lens's,flash, leads, charger and can carry a monopod and tripod as well.

Try to get down a shop and have a look and try some bags before you buy one 5ub,you might like the look of the one you showed us but when it comes to everyday use and going out,it might become a different story.

I made this mistake and went back to a slingshot like the one i had 3 years ago :)

The Lowepro slingshot 202 AW seems to have a lot more reviews on, and more popular and seems like it has good reviews too. Thanks. :)

It all depends on the situation you're going to use it for because no one bag does it all.

If you want a camera bag that doesn't scream camera bag from a potential theft point of view then don't buy a Crumpler imo. All it does in my eyes is say i'm an expensive camera bag trying not to look like a camera bag with lots of expensive stuff inside. I assume this because it has the nice Crumpler logo prominently displayed on it and they aren't cheap bags which means whatever is inside them probably really isn't cheap either.

My most discreet bags are a regular everyday no name shoulder bag and also a similar non descriptive messenger bag. I then insert actual camera protection or a camera bag inside them, either my £7.50 dslr insert into it (from bay 130923537197) which takes up the least room and offer fantastic protection. Or maybe my Lowepro rezo 160 or Nova 180. I even have carp holdall for the same purpose because they are built like tanks and have lots of room in them (plus cheap and waterproof).

That option gives me the most discreet solution and plenty of additional room for regular stuff that i might want (usually have my 3 kids with me so the extra room comes in very handy).

If i need more kit and less extra then i stick with my Kata 123 go 30 which has a lot of room, comfy(ish) and you can draw a camera quickly from it.

Good point's and some good idea's.

I also had the kata 123 go 30 and it is hugeeee,to big and clumsy for everyday use, that was my last bag and feel so much comfortable with the lowepro.

The slingshot is good for quick easy access. I've got a crumpler easy weasy that is also a backpack style bag but with an extremely thick padded base. Also has a laptop space at the back. If you have a lot of gear and want it protected whilst having a comfy bag too, I'd recommend that
