Casual Flight Shooter Games?

OK I do not want a realistic flight sim where I die trying to land every time. Are there any fun flight games, like basically just flying around and blowing stuff up? I grew up playing games like Gunship (don’t mind if it’s planes or helos) and would like something like that. I think there was an F117A stealth game too that was good (long time ago).

I don’t want to know how to fly an actual aircraft, I just want to fly around a beautiful world and make it go boom, are there any games like that these days?

Two of my most favourite and fondly remembered games - bit long in the tooth mind but cheap.

Planes and battleships pure arcade action with a bit of strategy.

pure classic. My fav moment when you invade a base and send your landing craft in and you view the shoreline from your ship via zooming in and watch the little soldiers run up the beach and attack the defences - very funny.

Nice looking game but it doesn't really have flight stick support if that matters.

Arma 3 is currently on sale on Steam for a bargain price.

Lots of flying you can do that in that but it probably means setting up your own missions or scenarios/downloading them from the workshop and setting them up.
