Hi

I'm looking for a casual FPS game that I will only be playing for a few hours a week, something that isnt too complex to get into, easy to pick up and play, but a game that you could play for months and months if you get into it.

Any suggestions?

Borderlands 1-4. Any Far Cry. Easy to pick up and play.

Doom or any other boomer shooter probably be ideal

I’m a big fan of BPM: bullets per minute, take a look if you fancy a rhythmic fps game :)

I think there's already some good suggestions in this thread. I will throw Deadzone: Rogue into the mix. If you like rogue-lite's this is an FPS on PC, Series X|S and PS5. Originally came out in Early Access last year, as an asset flip of a failed Live Service extraction shooter. But it's continued to be worked on by the Devs and has had more levels and content added since it came out. The core gunplay is very good and reminds me of CoD, or Titanfalll (without the movement) crossed with modern Doom at times. Hard at first as you keep dying but you make upgrades between runs and you get stronger.

Content won't last forever, but with different difficulty modes, side missions and horde/endless modes I can see this lasting a little while if you wanted to do everything. Kinda came out of nowhere and surprised me at how good it was. Only £20 at full price and worth a look.
