CasusBelli (Crysis wars mod)

HI all,
I tried a search but couldn't see anything on this:

It's a mod for crysis wars and looks quite good,it's getting a full release today so hoping to get a go on it later on- has anyone on here played the beta?

I only happened across this mod by way of the bf3 forums, of all places!

Thanks for the heads up, just been having a look and this looks like it could be quite good. They state on their website they are aiming for a kind of Battlefield meets Call of Duty style of game play.

For those that don't have or don't want to buy Crysis Wars, from reading their forum it looks like they have the mod working with the free trial version of CW.

Looks like this isn't getting release until later this evening, so not sure if I'll get to try it tonight but will try and get on it at some point over the weekend.

I wish they had gone for an earlier time to be able to download this, might just leave it until tomorrow morn aswell.

Played a few rounds of this now and it seems ok. Bit rough around the edges and still and a bit buggy in places, things like spawning and falling through the map. But definitely shows promise if they get the interest and carry on developing it.

Kind of like BF2, with a bit of CoD and CS thrown in. Quite liking the style of it and the map design is great in places. In fact in part the look and feel of it, and the slightly not finished/buggy feel to it reminds me of S.t.a.l.k.e.r as well in places. I'd definitely think they where influenced by it a bit, especially on one level in particular.

So overall a great start, needs work, shows promise.
