cat 6.5's without CCC?

CCC is fine as long as it isn't running. Install it as normal. Change and save all your settings. Close it then nuke the CCC processes and delete the startup entries for it and its runtime environment.

This way CCC never runs but, should you need to, you can restart it anytime.
