As title.

New features :-

This release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite includes Crossfire™ enhancements that enable the Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) Crossfire rendering mode by default so that users will see significant performance benefits across all AFR compatible applications immediately (including newly released applications, so users do not have to wait for a future ATI Catalyst™ release to add Crossfire™ support for newly released titles). Future ATI Catalyst™ releases will add further Crossfire™ performance gains once new applications have been profiled specifically for Crossfire™.

so if you aint got Crossfire, i wouldn't bother. :(

It's a new "antialiasing" mode that doesn't actually antialias, but alpha blends instead, as far as I understand it. Produces image quality as good as adaptive antialiasing with half the framerate hit of standard antialiasing from the results I've seen.

Looks stunning, can't wait.

Any changes to CCC? Visually or performance wise?

Wasnt it 6.1 when they moved over to the new style CCC so was thinking there might be a similar move this time round

Nope absoloutly nothing, i presumed in this release they would change the CCC green to match with AMD colours but nope still ATi

I'm going to install these, because the last drivers ATi released give my nasty screen coruption when i load into a Battlefield 2 map.

This is with my X1950 XTX
