Is it worth buying back, been offered a price for the bike and salvage.

All i know i from my off is fairing damage, new LH rearset & LH new clip. The machine started before it went away for inspection.

Should there be a report available detailing why its a CAT C ? I dont really want to buy it back and find out the frame is bent or the forks damaged etc.
 
Bonkers, i really think this insurance people are all in cahoots the assessor the lot.

Anyway i got a bargain for the RC which was 2008model with only 3.5k on the clock (i put 1.5k on in 2 months :D ) Cut a long story short its 5.6k in my back pocket or 4k and 1.6k to buy it back with some rear frame damage and complete LH side, panals, rearset, clip on, and swingarm scratched, bike was taken away very quickly to there base, overall they have been pretty good and efficient about it. The price of OEM parts are crazy and half the issue. If i had the time and facilities (no equipment for a swing arm removal) MRs would go balastic after i had to pay a builder after i trussed a old zx9 to the rafters of the garage for a fork seal change.

Its pained me but i have taken the cash and be done with it and not out of pocket.

So its either another RC8 or a 990 Superduke, only ever had sports bike since a wee lad so the superduke is really unknown stuff.
