Cat flap install question

Hi. Going to install a cat flap for a friend tomorrow. One of those cat flaps with a tunnel included to go through thicker doors

This is the door I question

She wants it fitting on the area marked

Can you see any issues with this. I have installed them before. But always on a flat area. This is in a area with moulding

1) it is a white board marker.
2) Thank you people. I think it would be very hard to fit it and make it look okay where she requires it. Her thinking is that it could be too high in the flat square area.

I will look at it tomorrow when I am there to be sure. I was always under the impression they needed mounting onto flat surfaces.

ended up putting it in the middle. no other sensible solution on that door. Told her, maybe some form of step for the cat if needed.
