How can a car be given a CAT S AND a CAT N status for the same incident on the same date?

Surely that's impossible and must be an admin error?

Yep it's either one or the other, if it's too much damage for N then it should be S, too much for S then should be B then again for A.

Can't see how it could be a combination.

Must be an admin error then as car is listed as Cat S and Cat N on the same date
