Catalyst 10.11 Available via windows update

I'll give them a try, as the 10.10d drivers have been shocking for me - the display driver keeps crashing with Flash videos, games lock and I've had to reset my computer several times. Shame, as I've updated to every previous release (including pre-release versions) and never had a problem.

UPDATE: Well, I set it downloading and kept browsing the web. Then my screen switched modes several times and it hung on a black screen. I restarted and now it shows up at 10.11. I'll give it a go with gaming but a crash during install isn't exactly a good start.

That happened with my old 4870's with the recent few driver releases until I manually removed the old drivers first, then the installs were fine from then on.

CCC > options > preferences > restore factory defaults would have fixed your pink hue issue 3 weeks ago

Except that it doesn't. It's less pink admitedly but if you then roll back to the orinignal 10.10's you will know that it's still way off.

So are the 10.11's newer and do they offer anything that the half dozen fixed 10.10's don't?

I didnt bother with downloading the windows update drivers....

Honestly you trust Microsoft to push out the correct drivers and get them installed in the proper way??

Just wait for the officials.
