Catalyst 12.3 > 12.4

Hi guys,

I tried to update my drivers last night but for some reason its not happening... I've tried direct download and also through the AMD software update utility but although both drivers appear to install when I look in Catalyst Control I still see:

Catalyst Version 12.3

Any ideas why the 12.4s aren't installing or at least not showing that they've been updated

The 12.4s don't show the correct driver number, mine appeared as 11.12. Went back to the 12.3s anyway, far more stable for my 7950...

Did you fully uninstall the 12.3 drivers with Control Panel/Device manager before installing the 12.4s?

Ive had a similar problem, fully uninstalled CCC and then used driver sweeper, reinstalled the 12.4 software but still shows that im running 12.3 and reminds me that there's a 12.4 update - quite annoying atm.

Ive installed 12.4 over the 12.3 and all seems fine

Tried installing the 12.4s over the 12.3s at work today and they're still showing as 12.3... must be a bug?

Mine is the same also.... Sounds like a bug to me.

Mine also still showing as 12.3 after the 12.4 update on a HD5450.
