More of a heads up than anything (I couldn't see another topic about it).

I updated to 12.4 last week, and ever since, I was having issues, where all screens would suddenly go blank (showing no signal) and the only way to get the back (that I found) was to restart.

I was worried it might have been my gfx card being unstable, so I returned to stock settings, but still the same. I then decided to install the old drivers again, which seems to have fixed the issue.

As I said, more of a heads up for anyone else who is having the same issues, it could be worth trying.

I have a 6950, with a 2500k on W7.

Yea I had to go back to the 12.3 drivers on my M18x laptop (6990s in X-fire) as it just did not like the 12.4 drivers one bit. BSODs and blank screens all over the place. I initially thought I fried a card but thankfully not the case.

I get the same odd problem on 12.4 as well when running a game. However, these seems to be the best drivers for me in terms of framerates and graphical glitches, with older ones I get random white areas appearing... AMD drivers, they fix one thing but break another

No problems with 12.4 here, I have crossfire too..

Are you using driversweeper between installs out of interest?

Unplayable in BF3 for me. Stutter city :( Hope they have the 12.5's some way ironed out when they come out. Everyone saying the 12.5 betas are the best in games by a long shot and of course they're BSOD city for me! DAMN YOU AMD!!

No, just using the AMD auto update, as I've never had problems with it before.

Tbh I haven't had any issues with 12.3, so I'm fine sticking with it for a while longer. If I get the issues again with 12.5, then I'll try a driver sweeper first.

Yeah I got a 7950 and only tried 12.4 but when I leave pc alone doing nothing for a while the screen goes black like a sleep state and won't come out of it and have to restart pc.

this sometimes happens to me if you hold crt+alt+del this wakes the screen works for me anyway

Go into power settings in control panel, and change so PC don't enter sleep or switch off display. Thats what I always use.

I had display driver issue with 12.4 as soon as I restarted and tried to play a game it would crash. Turns out I forgot to untick read-only on my Profiles.xml config to protect my 5970 clocks and it's now working fine. I set read-only because GPU-z reports 2nd GPU clocks differently to 1st one all the time which I why I manually edit that file. Pain in the backside!

im on a 6950 2500k with Win7 to and im still on 12.4 beta (to lazy to update)
and mines fine, bf3 performance got better to.

I've now done this. Every time the monitors go to sleep, when I wake it up the drivers either crash or blue screen. Hoping 12.5 will solve this, if not 12.6...

Very tempted to move back to the 6850 until things improve, at least the drivers for that is very solid.
