yes 3 point increase for me in 06

heheh
ill stick with 7.3's too. unless there is a bigger differences for x64 users.

i like upgrading after a few releases, can then reep the rewards of 3 or more driver releases combined into one. :D

bit difficult to say Nvidia drivers are **** tbh, not this week anyhow, and when one guys saying 3 point increase yet nvidia owners are enjoying a 1000 point increase ;)

Lets hope Nvidia make this a habit like ATI do.... and lets hope ATI actually release something ;)

:D :D both nvidia and ati should have merged. then you get the fast driver release of ati and the fast hardware release of nvidia. you can;t loose :D :p

I ll restore my pc with a fresh installation image and give it a try. Had ALL sorts of problems with 7.3 and games in vista 32bit. Especially CnC3!

ps: One fact about ATi is driver support. +1 point in my book for my next buy.

Sounds like a stupid question, but do the Cats include all chipset drivers for ATi based motherboards?

I'm looking for updated drivers for my motherboard, but it just points me at the Catalysts.

Could somebody with an ATi chipset please enlighten me?

When I install cats, I get some filter drivers for the nbridge. I am not sure if thats all needed. However, vista device manager shows no signs of missing drivers for the mobo. And is quite old.
