£305, which was a bargain imo, online ebay store so got a brand new sealed card thats clocked faster than the ultra (core is anyway). :)


Think its being marked as a gift or warranty return so hopefully i dont get shafted.
 
getting back on topic a bit,

I have just downloaded 7.6 and now when i load up controle center it tells me i do not have permission to access controle center????

Does anyone know i have done

did you remove the old drivers prior to installing?
 
Wow ive had quite a improvement with these new drivers. AA performance has improved a lot in the games i play, not tried 3dmark 06 yet but from game performance so far i can tell im gonna get a boost.
 
This sounds great, was waiting for something like this to convince me that i should get one. Looks a pretty sure bet that ATi will ge this card up and running as a GTS maybe GTX competitor!
 
Looks like ATI are really working hard on getting the performance increases out of the card which is great to see and with the own brand card now just over 230 its getting better and better value.

Am tempted to get one but i've heard its performance in Sup Cmdr is slightly woeful and that getting a Quad xeon would benefit me more in that department, with my x1900xt just about chugging along at 1600 * 1200 :o
 
I think i am going to get one off these insted off a 8800GTS, Looks like they can only get better and will be a good stepup from my X1600!!
